Daubentonia madagascariensis
Nocturnal primate that taps rapidly along tree bark with a thin, elongated, skeletal middle finger, listening through disproportionately large ears for the hollow echo of wood-boring grub tunnels, then gnaws a hole with perpetually growing incisors and hooks the larvae out with that same finger.
